Shabad (Ang 842 of SGGS) : jis dhaa saahib ddaaddaa hoi ||
(One who belongs to the All-powerful Lord and Master)
tis no maar na saakai koi ||
(no one can destroy him.)
saahib kee sevak rahai saranaiee ||
(The Lord's servant remains under His protection;)
aape bakhase dhe vaddiaaiee ||
(The Lord Himself forgives him, and blesses him with glorious greatness.)
tis te uoopar naahee koi ||
(There is none higher than Him.)
kaun ddarai ddar kis kaa hoi ||
(Why should he be afraid? What should he ever fear?)
gurmatee saa(n)t vasai sareer ||
(Through the Guru's Teachings, peace and tranquility abide within the body.)
sabadh cheeni(h) fir lagai na peer ||
(Remember the Word of the Shabad, and you shall never suffer pain.)
aavai na jai naa dhukh paae ||
(You shall not have to come or go, or suffer in sorrow.)
naame raate sahaj samaae ||
(Imbued with the Naam, the Name of the Lord, you shall merge in celestial peace.)
naanak gurmukh vekhai hadhoor ||
(O Nanak, the Gurmukh beholds Him ever-present, close at hand.)
meraa prabh sadh rahiaa bharapoor ||
(My God is always fully pervading everywhere.)
