(But please do not touch these eyes;
I hope to see my Lord.)

(The crows have searched my skeleton,
and eaten all my flesh.)

  pir dhekhan kee aas ||91||
(But please do not touch these eyes;
I hope to see my Lord.)

kaagaa choo(n)dd na pi(n)jaraa
  basai ta uddar jaeh ||
(O crow, do not peck at my skeleton;
if you have landed on it, fly away.)

jit pi(n)jarai meraa sahu vasai
  maas na tidhoo khaeh ||92||
(Do not eat the flesh from that skeleton,
within which my Husband Lord abides.)

Shabad (Ang 659 of SGGS) : nainahu neer bahai
  tan kheenaa bhe kes dhudh vaanee ||
(Tears well up in my eyes,
my body has become weak, and my hair has become milky-white.)

roodhaa ka(n)Th sabadh nahee ucharai
  ab kiaa kareh paraanee ||1||
(My throat is tight, and I cannot utter even one word;
what can I do now? I am a mere mortal.)
