Shabad (Ang 1382 of SGGS) : e dhui nainaa mat chhuhau
pir dhekhan kee aas ||
(But please do not touch these eyes;
I hope to see my Lord.)
kaagaa kara(n)g dda(n)ddoliaa
sagalaa khaiaa maas ||
(The crows have searched my skeleton,
and eaten all my flesh.)
e dhui nainaa mat chhuhau
pir dhekhan kee aas ||91||
(But please do not touch these eyes;
I hope to see my Lord.)
kaagaa choo(n)dd na pi(n)jaraa
basai ta uddar jaeh ||
(O crow, do not peck at my skeleton;
if you have landed on it, fly away.)
jit pi(n)jarai meraa sahu vasai
maas na tidhoo khaeh ||92||
(Do not eat the flesh from that skeleton,
within which my Husband Lord abides.)
Shabad (Ang 659 of SGGS) : nainahu neer bahai
tan kheenaa bhe kes dhudh vaanee ||
(Tears well up in my eyes,
my body has become weak, and my hair has become milky-white.)
roodhaa ka(n)Th sabadh nahee ucharai
ab kiaa kareh paraanee ||1||
(My throat is tight, and I cannot utter even one word;
what can I do now? I am a mere mortal.)
