Shell's $12.5 Billion Natural Gas To Diesel project // The New Energy Revolution

Hello Friends,
Recent announcement by Shell to tap into the Boom of Natural Gas to setup a Project in Louisiana, USA & convert Natural Gas to Liquid Fuel - Diesel is all set to revolutionise the energy industry.

A recent new wild card = Shale Oil & Shale Natural Gas have recently emerged & given North America the big advantage.
The new discoveries with recent advancement in hydraulic fracturing (fracking) is changing the face of North America.
It is now estimated that USA will be energy (Oil) self sufficient within the next 20 years & will have no need for the expensive Middle East / OPEC Oil.
The huge Oil & Gas reserves in the Bakken shale Oil Fields of North Dakota - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bakken_formation
and Marcellus shale oil formations in Pennsylvania - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcellus_Formation
are sufficient to add up-to 200 years worth of supply of Natural Gas - & low energy prices over a sustained long period can alone bring any economy out of recession & back into positive growth.

Shell's recent announcement is all set to tap into the surplus of Natural Gas in North America which is going to flow from fracking wells & take advantage of the low prices to convert that to high priced Diesel fuel.
Diesel is a readily sale able commodity & all heavy duty Trucks, fleets of Buses & Public Transport, & Farm equipment - all run on Diesel. Many cars also run on Diesel fuel.
This is a win-win deal for Shell & if the project goes online smoothly - it will be jackpot for the next 100 years, as there is expected to be about 200 years of supply coming online within the next few decades.
