Manitoba Economy Booming /changes to- Manitoba Provincial Immigrant Nominee Program // 1,000's jobs posted in MB today..

Hello Friends,
Here below is news about the Booming Economy in Manitoba.
New immigrants who have no roots yet in Canada are free to settle where ever there is maximum opportunity with respect to - jobs, future growth prospects and good quality of life, less urban crowding.
To those people - I will suggest that the prairie provinces offer the maximum opportunity in terms of sustained growth in the coming years.
Farming in the Prairie Provinces is a major contributor to the local economy & eventhough many of our Indo-Candian Professionals are reluctant farmers & may not even know the difference between a Harrow & a Plough. However farming is a very viable occupation and very profitable business enterprise & recession proof. With growing populations all around the world, food shortages & scarcity & rising prices - farming is an ever-green industry in Canada over the next 100 years.
Manitoba offers - low cost of living, the the local economy is strong - providing ample opportunity for new immigrants to find jobs.
Cost of Housing is also almost half the prices compared to the big cities of Ontario.

A note for all new immigrants & potential immigrants -
Now with the new federal immigration rules - it is next to impossible to bring your Parents & siblings (brothers, sisters, cousins) in Canada for Permanent residence - due to the new federal guidelines - that route is still open to you through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, if you are a resident of that province for 1year or more - you can still sponsor your siblings & Parents.

Winnipeg's economy ranked 3rd in National Survey

Winnipeg has been ranked in third place in a national survey of 25 city economies, and the local area’s leaders cite employment and housing among the key reasons.
Manitoba’s capital is behind only Toronto and Kitchener, Ont. on the latest CIBC Metropolitan Economic Activity Index, and is just ahead of Regina and Montreal on the scale based on factors including population and employment growth, personal and business bankruptcies as well as real estate activity and building permits.

Manitoba is booming.
Statistics Canada released annual demographic estimates for the provinces today, reporting Manitoba had its highest growth in nearly 30 years.
The population as of July 1, 2010 was 1,235,400 — 15,900 more people than the preceding year and a growth rate of 1.3 per cent, according to Stats Can. That's the highest growth rate for the province since 1982-83.
Net international migration (1,200) in 2009/2010 was the highest observed in Manitoba since 1971.
The province received close to 14,100 immigrants in 2009/2010, the fourth year in a row the province recorded more than 10,000 immigrants. That's credited mainly to Manitoba's use of the Provincial Nominee Program, an economic program that allows provinces to select immigrants with the training, work experience and language skills that can be put to use here.
