Shabad : Deen dayal bharose tere

Shabad (Ang 337 of SGGS) : dheen dhiaal bharose tere ||
(O Lord, Merciful to the meek,
I have placed my faith in You;)

sabh paravaar chaRaiaa beRe ||1||
(along with all my family, I have come aboard Your boat.)

raam japau jeea aaise aaise ||
  dhraoo prahilaadh japio har jaise ||1||
(Just as Dhroo and Prahlaad meditated on the Lord,
so should you meditate on the Lord, O my soul.)

dheen dhiaal bharose tere ||
(O Lord, Merciful to the meek, I have placed my faith in You;)

sabh paravaar chaRaiaa beRe ||1||
(along with all my family, I have come aboard Your boat.)

jaa tis bhaavai
  taa hukam manaavai ||
(When it is pleasing to Him,
then He inspires us to obey the Hukam of His Command.)

eis beRe kau
  paar laghaavai ||2||
(He causes this boat to cross over.)

gur parasaadh
  aaisee budh samaanee ||
(By Guru's Grace,
such understanding is infused into me;)

chook giee
  fir aavan jaanee ||3||
(my comings and goings in reincarnation have ended.)

kahu kabeer
  bhaj saarigapaanee ||
(Says Kabeer,
meditate, vibrate upon the Lord, the Sustainer of the earth.)

auravaar paar
sabh eko dhaanee ||4||
(In this world, in the world beyond and everywhere,
He alone is the Giver.)
