Shabad (Pg 322 of SGGS) : 
ਜੀਵਨ ਪਦੁ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੁ ਇਕੋ ਸਿਮਰੀਐ ॥
Jeevan Padh Nirabaan Eiko Simareeai ||
(To gain the immortal status remember thou the One pure Lord.)

ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ਕਿਨਿ ਬਿਧਿ ਧੀਰੀਐ ॥
Dhoojee Naahee Jaae Kin Bidhh Dhheereeai ||
(There is no other place. How can we be content with another?)

ਡਿਠਾ ਸਭੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਨ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ॥
Ddithaa Sabh Sansaar Sukh N Naam Bin ||
(I have seen the whole world, there is no peace without the Lord's Name.)

ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਹੋਸੀ ਛਾਰੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਕੋਇ ਜਨੁ ॥
Than Dhhan Hosee Shhaar Jaanai Koe Jan ||
(The body and wealth shall become dust but hardly any one understands this.)

ਰੰਗ ਰੂਪ ਰਸ ਬਾਦਿ ਕਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਪਰਾਣੀਆ ॥
Rang Roop Ras Baadh K Karehi Paraaneeaa ||
(Pleasure, beauty and relishes are vain. What are thou engaged in, O Mortal.)

ਜਿਸੁ ਭੁਲਾਏ ਆਪਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਕਲ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਣੀਆ ॥
Jis Bhulaaeae Aap This Kal Nehee Jaaneeaa ||
(He whom God Himself deludes understands not His might.)

ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੇ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੁ ਸਚਾ ਗਾਵਹੀ ॥
Rang Rathae Nirabaan Sachaa Gaavehee ||
(They who are imbued with the love of the Pure Lord sing the True Name.)

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਰਣਿ ਦੁਆਰਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਹੀ ॥੨॥
Naanak Saran Dhuaar Jae Thudhh Bhaavehee ||2||
(Nanak whosoever are pleasing to Thee, O Lord, seek the shelter at Thy door.)

(Meditate, contemplate the Name of the Lord, O mind.)

bas rahe hiradhai gur charan piaare ||
(The Beloved Feet of the Guru abide within my heart.)


bhoole maarag jineh bataiaa ||
(He places the one who strays back on the Path;)

aaisaa gur vaddabhaagee paiaa ||1||
(such a Guru is found by great good fortune.)

Simar manaa raam naam chitaare |
(Meditate, contemplate the Name of the Lord, O mind.)

bas rahe hiradhai gur charan piaare ||1||
(The Beloved Feet of the Guru abide within my heart.)

kaam karodh lobh moh man leenaa ||
(The mind is engrossed in worldly desires, anger, greed and emotional attachment.)

ba(n)dhan kaaT mukat gur keenaa ||2||
(Breaking my bonds, the Guru has liberated me.)

dhukh sukh karat janam fun mooaa ||
(Experiencing pain and pleasure, one is born, only to die again.)

charan kamal gur aasram dheeaa ||3||
(The Lotus Feet of the Guru bring peace and shelter.)

agan saagar booddat sa(n)saaraa ||
(The world is drowning in the ocean of fire.)

naanak baeh pakar satigur nisataaraa ||4||3||8||
(O Nanak, holding me by the arm, the True Guru has saved me.)
