December-2013 - some significant events :
1. Venus Transits Capricorn(10) 5-Dec to 6-Jan-2014.
Venus moves into Capricorn(10) into friendly territory the home of its disciple - Shani (Saturn). In the Meantime Saturn is transiting Libra(7), the home of Venus. Both are friends & now in exchange of signs, giving each planet further strength & support during this time period. Venus begins retrograde (moving backwards) period starting Dec-21. It begins to move in line with the Sun in the zodiac as an "evening star" & eventually disappearing from sight & finally emerging a few weeks later in January on jan-11-2014 as the "morning star" & remaining as a morning star until 25-oct-2014.
Also as per Vedic Astrology of no less significance is the following :
Venus is on a journey of transformation from Evening Star to Morning Star during which time it appears to make a descent into the underworld, setting in the West as the Evening Star and then rising again in the East as the Morning Star. Remember that the transformation of Venus from Evening Star to Morning Star is one from the god of love to the god of war.
Therefore the 3 last weeks in December may be peaceful & overall harmony as Venus now being the brightest star in sky is also receiving support from its main disciple Shani (Saturn) & is showing its benevolence to one & all, until its transformation in January/2014.
2. Sun Transits Sagittarius 15-Dec to 13-Jan-2014.
The Sun is in friendly territory & also very confident amongst a gathering of planets.
The Sun in Sagittarius will have Venus in Capricorn on one side and Mercury in Scorpio on the other. Having two benefic planets flanking on either side is supportive to the Sun; with those two supporting planets being Mercury and Venus, we may feel especially confident in our communication and creative self-expression.
Children who are born during this time period will have the - Obhayachari Yoga (a form of Raj Yoga) - Eloquent speaker, well formed limbs, wealthy, famous, well-liked, delighted, confident as the Sun.
Overall - the last 3 weeks in December may be the best time of the year in terms of Peace & Harmony.
