My Star-Gazing: Scientific Vedic Astrological Forecast - Mar-Apr/2017
Hello Friends,
Spring has arrived & big changes are coming for the next 2 months.
Few significant astrological events occurring in the next 2 months :
1. Mars Transits Aires (1) : 02-Mar-2017 to 13-Apr :
Mars is in own sign for the next month & ready to express it's beneficial energy to all. Very Beneficial (Shubh)
2. Venus Transits Pisces (12) 27-Jan-2017 to 31-may.
Pisces is considered the exaltation sign of Venus, so this will be a positive transit. Due to Venus retrograde cycle, this passage through Pisces (the sign of Jupiter) will be extended to over four months, ending on May 31.
We will explore how Venus is faring through the coming months, but overall, this transit of Venus is very positive, this period is good to explore new relationships as Venus is the ruler of love, & romance.
3. Sun Transits Pisces (12) 14-Mar-2017 to 14-Apr.
Sun is finally entering friendly territory after 2 months. This is a welcome reprieve after 2 months of harsh winter. We'll be blessed with the "kripa drishti" (beneficial rays of warmth) of the Surya & can relax a bit from our daily hardships. Sun moves away from the 3rd aspect of Saturn & receives the beneficial 7th aspect of Jupiter in Virgo (6)
Sun is also in conjugation with beneficial planets Mercury (Budh) & Venus (shukra) & forms a Raj Yoga : Ubhayachari Yoga as it has planets on either side (in the 2nd house : Mars & in the 12 house : Ketu). This is a very favourable indication & produces huge rewards.

My Star-Gazing: Scientific Vedic Astrological Forecast - Jan-Feb/2017
Hello Friends,
Big changes have occurred since my last update.
Times are changing & the stars tell the story of a changing environment - socio, political & economical. We're witnessing a sea change of almost everything.
I keep my faith in the ancient science & knowledge of astrology, this is the gift given to me by my father & by my astrology school in India. It has allowed me to look at everything with a different perspective & keeps me a step ahead of events.
Few significant astrological events occurring in the next 2 months :
1. Trump inauguration on Jan-20 :
Many people fear the unknown & the inflammatory statements during last year. However, in reality : The crown makes the head heavy & brings responsibility & prudence to bad behaviour.
Some people are fearful, however The stars tell a different story :
A planetary necklace - "a garland of planets" - all planets/ stars line-up on Jan-20 / "Graha Malika", Moon in Libra Jan 19-20 :
Planets are spread out into a chain of adjacent signs. This is a significant thing to note because of two points. First, planets function well when they have space and are not competing with other planets for expression in the same sign. Second, when this garland appears, it often indicates a chain of events that becomes significant for an individual in their horoscope or for all of us collectively.
When the waning Moon reaches the sign of Libra, we will see this garland for a couple of days, January 19-20. Starting with Rahu in Leo (5), we progress to Jupiter in Virgo (6), Moon in Libra (7), Saturn in Scorpio (8), Mercury in Sagittarius (9), Sun in Capricorn (10) and ending with Ketu/Venus/Mars in Aquarius (11).
Mars also breaks the "Kaal-Sarp Yoga" on 20-jan-2017, when Mars steps into Pisces (12), thus completing the planetary garland.
It is more difficult to predict what this could mean on the world stage, but in an individual chart, we look at the houses that start and end the garland to get a clue about what that configuration means for an individual horoscope. Since this does occur during the time of the US Presidential inauguration, we can only take the planetary configuration as a positive indicator of the times to come. So, I'm not overly worried.
2. Sun Transits Capricorn (10) 14-Jan-2017 to 12-Feb.
Winter is here & the winter Sun is the weakest - take that as a weakness of energy, self confidence, self ego.
The Sun enters un-friendly territory after 2 months, enters Capricorn(10) the home of Saturn.
Its as if - it losses its self confidence & ego. Saturn destroys ego & over confidence.
The Sun transits the 2 signs of Saturn during the next 2 months - Capricorn (10) and Aquarius (11) as per Vedic Calendar.
Because Capricorn has the reputation for serious work and difficulty, like the symbol of the mountain-climbing goat, it is a good time to get your head down and put your soul into those difficult tasks that offer great rewards.
If during this time you find yourself being repeatedly slapped & your ego shattered, look no further than within yourself to understand the lessons you are being dealt.
Its during these times of hard work & effort that we begin to appreciate the worth of luxury & comfort.
3. Sun Transits Aquarius(11) 12-feb-2017 to 14-mar.
The Sun is in un-friendly territory Aquarius(11) the home of Saturn.
Its as if - it losses its self confidence & ego. Saturn destroys ego & over confidence. It wants you to learn the hands-on approach. No more cushy luxury of pushing buttons. It wants you to roll up your sleeves & get down on your hand & knees hard work.
If during this time you find yourself being repeatedly slapped & your ego shattered, look no further than within yourself to understand the lessons you are being dealt.
Its during these times of hard work & effort that we begin to appreciate the worth of luxury & comfort.

Overall - Avoid Conflict situations : the next 2 months may be hard - which is seasonal with winter / the usual back breaking work - but its all worth it, if the rewards are sweet.
